Luxury Walk-In Shower Bathroom in Bearwood, Bournemouth

This Bearwood homeowner came to us wanting more from their bathroom — the existing bath was underused, the layout felt cramped, and the plumbing hadn't been properly updated in years. The brief was clear: remove the bath, create a genuine walk-in shower experience, and bring everything up to a standard they'd be proud of.

The first stage was the most involved: we relocated and fully refreshed all the plumbing, rerouting supply and waste pipework to suit the new layout. Getting this right was critical — it sets the foundation for everything that follows, and it's the kind of work that many contractors won't take on. We did it properly.

With the plumbing sorted, we installed a large walk-in shower area behind a fluted glass screen panel — a stylish, practical choice that creates a sense of privacy while keeping the room feeling open and light. The shower interior is fully lined with stone-effect panels: seamless, grout-free, and easy to keep clean. A thermostatic shower system with riser rail and handset sits neatly against the panels, with a recessed niche shelf built into the wall for toiletries.

The rest of the room was finished to the same high standard — oak-effect LVT flooring throughout, a wall-hung WC with chrome flush plate, a fluted-front vanity unit with chrome handles, and a white ladder-style heated towel rail below the window. The walls were fully re-plastered to give a clean, level base, and new recessed downlights were installed to brighten the space properly.

The result is a bathroom that feels genuinely luxurious — neutral, calm, and built to last. As with all our projects in the Bournemouth area, everything was handled in-house from first fix to final snag.
